Dynamic variables are parameters whose values are provided by the affiliate. Unlike fixed values, these are generated dynamically, meaning they can change depending on different factors. Once generated, the values are stored in the Ad Server. Affiliates can access and view these stored values in real-time via the Affiliate Interface, enabling more flexible and detailed tracking and reporting of affiliate activities and performance.
This functionality is particularly useful for Affiliates who wish to perform a more in-depth analysis of campaigns and individual clicks. A tracking link may contain more than one dynamic variable.
They are included in the track links like in the following example:
http://ntrfr.leovegas.com/redirect.aspx?pid=1234567&lpid=8&bid=1234&clickid=XXXX
Where "XXXX" is a value dynamically generated on the side of the affiliate, the affiliate has to enter the macro from their system.
The most used parameters are the following: clickid and subid.
Special characters such as ) . / _ and spaces should not be used in the variable name as this can cause issues with the variable query string.
The system can store up to 500 characters in the variable query string. Therefore, for example 'var1=12345&var2=12456455555555' cannot exceed 500 characters in total.
